I found myself studying this globe longer than i have studied it since high school world history class damn… I fergot the teacher name…very cool app...

very nice and it beautiful to see the world as i walk into my office! recomend it for anyone.

Earth 3D is one of the best software titles that one could have.

The thing that I see is that it reminds me of the vastness of the world and makes me put my little world in perspective.

I love the ability to see all these places on the earth and the weather at the same time. Beautiful graphics.

my rating is outstanding. what an experience especially at this time. we have serious russian aggression on the eastern bordrs of ukraine. and at the same time we have an aircraft down in the indian ocean. We have a storm and serious mudslide killing people in the state of Washington.what a time it is to use these world images immediately available to search the globe and keep track of activities each day as they are occurring all around us.

The most educational and interesting… and worthwhile… screensaver I’ve seen! It should be on every kid’s computer as a screensaver AND as wallpaper! As our standing in the world continues to decrease, it becomes more important to know where other countries are, their goegraphic relationships and what features they hold! This application does that AND teaches how to read a globe (and maps) without needing “NORTH” at the top of the image! The aircraft are novel as well as the surface craft. To date, no Stink Bugs from China have been discovered in the containers of the pictured cargo ships! This is an excellent choice for this type of application! Well done! (And, this is NOT an April Fools message!)

I had previous versions, but you cant beat this! It truly kicks butt, and makes my my older machine look sharp and modern! I like it a great deal. Thanks for working so hard on the up[date! Every little tweak adds more shine to this app.

Fantastic and Great App

This is the perfect app to run for an interesting desktop look and help keep my geopolitical knowledge up to date. My only critique is that the names of some of the smaller countries don’t show up unless you are in interactive mode and zoomed in. Otherwise it’s AWESOME!

I love this app. It is beautifully done. You find yourself spending hours looking at every little thing.

I was disappointed to see the political divisions were an add-on. After getting the app, I wish I hadn’t, even for $.99. About all it’s good for is a screensaver.

I am totally fascinated by Earth 3D. I can sit and watch it for hours if I dont catch myself. The different options that you can add make it even more fun. I am very happy with this app.

I’m running Yosemite Beta 2, so this review might not apply to those still running Mavericks. I really do love this wallpaper/screensaver, but it causes my computer to lag considerably, even when it’s one of the only apps running. The mouse hesitates and applications stutter. As soon as I turn of Earth 3D, all is well. I don’t have a ton of RAM (8GB), but I can run Adobe Photoshop and InDesign while working with 20GB images and 300 page documents without a hiccup, so I can’t imagine why this wallpaper would eat up so much RAM to cause disruption to other apps. I hope to see improvements in the near future.

I reaally love this app. Could you please add more 3D objects: animals and sea creatures. Thanks.

I have an iMac 27 inches, and this screen saver is WOW!

Simply Outstanding!!! Very Well thought out. 5 STARS without question.

I run this on a MacBook Pro with plenty of power. On the laptop itself it runs happily in the background where I see only a small part of it happily spinning in the background while I work. When I connect to my large external screen however the cooling fans on the laptop come to life at full power. Not a dig on Earth 3D but the overall rendering for anything larger than the laptop display seems to take quite a bit of power and I find myself shutting it off while docked.. Otherwise I really like it and would recommend it for people that don’t “Full Screen” everything they are working on.
