A Love/Hate Relationship

I’m running Yosemite Beta 2, so this review might not apply to those still running Mavericks.

I really do love this wallpaper/screensaver, but it causes my computer to lag considerably, even when it’s one of the only apps running. The mouse hesitates and applications stutter. As soon as I turn of Earth 3D, all is well. I don’t have a ton of RAM (8GB), but I can run Adobe Photoshop and InDesign while working with 20GB images and 300 page documents without a hiccup, so I can’t imagine why this wallpaper would eat up so much RAM to cause disruption to other apps. I hope to see improvements in the near future.
